This movie was great. I love shitty movies like these. The plot barely makes sense, Sylvester Stallone is one of the actors, and everyone keeps blaming the French for everything.
The basic plot is, there is this thing called the transcontinental road racing, which is basically the cannonball run with extra points for running people over, held every year by a totalitarian United state government. And a resistance group led by a descendant of Thomas Paine, Thomasina Paine (Great name), tries to piss the government off by killing the racers and stuff. But the government keeps covering it all up by blaming the French for everything. Which I completely agree with. The French doesnt get half the blame they actually deserve . More movies should just shit on the French for no reason.
